Weekend at Stowe Mountain Lodge

Kyle and I went to Vermont just to get away for a weekend before school started back up for him in August. Stowe Mountain Lodge is so beautiful without the snow so I can't wait to see what it looks like during the winter months. We are already planning to head back up after the new year.

22 inches of snow in OCTOBER!

The weekend before Halloween we were dumped on by the snow gods. We measured 22 inches at our house but some towns had well over 2 feet. Unfortunately, it pretty much cancelled Halloween since most of the state (us included) were without power for the better part of a week.

2011 Tri-State Baseball Champions!!

Kyle and the guys had a monumental baseball season and I have to admit that all of "the wives" had as much fun at the games as the guys did. Kyle has been saying for years that once they win the championship he will retire (at least from this league). BUT....guess who's already talking about the next season? Oh boy!

Week on the Cape

For the second year in a row Kyle and I decided to rent a place on the Cape for a week away. This year, we were lucky to have the Dampeer Clan join us for the week from Indiana (what troopers to drive with 2 little ones) as well at the Pratts. Here are a few highlights of the week........

Michigan Visit

A few weekends ago I made a solo trip to Michigan for a surprise 70th birthday party and baby shower. Of course, my camera never left my suitcase and all of the pictures I took with my phone were of the adorable kids. As always, the weekend flew by way too fast but it was nice to catch up with everyone.
