A little dinner with my CCSU roomies

Kyle and I got together with Josh, Melissa, Matt, Melanie & Melissa's parents for an impromptu dinner celebration at J. Timothy's, one of our old college haunts. It was a nice evening that involved good food, great conversation and........car bombs. We will never grow up!!

Viva Las Vegas

Kyle & I meet up with Andy & Lou in Las Vegas this past weekend. It was by far the best spur of the moment trip we've ever been on. We stayed at The Mirage, ate great food, walked until we had blisters (damn heels) and caught a Cirque show. Thanks Dampeers!

They're having a baby!!

Stephanie and JP just found out that they are having a baby! Kyle & I can't wait to meet our first niece or nephew in a few short months!!

How cute are these babies?!

It wouldn't be a visit to Michigan without meeting up with the GOCC ladies. It was the first time Kyle and I got to meet Alex, Lou & Andy's son and Jackson, Angie & Chris's son who were born only 5 days apart. Drew (Angie's oldest) looks like such a little man now! The extra special bonus is that Kayleen was able to make the trip too!

They're Engaged!

Jason and Lindsey got engaged about a month ago. The ring is beautiful! No date has been set yet. I can not believe my baby brother is getting married!!

No one said traveling with the dog was going to be easy!!!

Kyle, Kona & I made the trek to Michigan for Christmas. We were among the lucky travelers to fly into Grand Rapids when the airport was without power. After exiting the plane through the tail of the aircraft we then had to travel in blizzard like conditions from GR to Kzoo at about midnight (we were supposed to land at 8:20pm). I'm already dreading our flight back to Hartford this weekend!!

It was so nice to be with the family on Christmas day. The day consisted of too much food, too many presents and the traditional family pictures in front of the Christmas tree. Lindsey & Jason brought their 3 pups, Florence, Scooby and Mya, JP & Stephanie brought Winston, AND Grandma Margie brought her dog Sydney. Kona was by far the smallest of the bunch, but she held her own!! I'm pretty sure she can't wait to get back to Connecticut!
