Jason completed his first Marathon!!

My little brother ran the Chicago Marathon on October 7th in 4 hours, 27 minutes. Kyle and I weren't able to make the trek back to cheer him on, but we are extremely proud of him!

The Keller/Petersen Wedding - July 14th, 2007

My baby sister got married this summer.....isn't she beautiful?! It turned out to be one of the best days of the summer, even though the weather made us nervous until about an hour before the ceremony. After the rain scare, the sky was beautiful and the day went off without a hitch. Kyle and I were hurting quite a bit the next day.....we flew out very early and didn't have the best travel experience back to CT. We couldn't get home fast enough---and went right to bed without even unpacking (and you all know that is not like me)!!

Stephanie's Bachelorette Party

Most of the past summer was spent in Michigan because Stephanie and JP got married July 14th. I threw Steph's Bachelorette Party in June (about 3 weeks before the wedding). We went to B.D.'s Mongolian for dinner and then to THE B.O.B. for a comedy show and drinks. As you can tell by the pix, a great time was had by all!!

It's time to join the blogging train

Well, we might not have adorable kids to talk about but I love reading the blogs of my Michigan friends so much I decided to join them so they can all keep tabs on Kyle & I out here in Connecticut. I'm not too sure where to begin so please bear with me!! The summer is officially over but it is the best time to live in Litchfield. It's amazing how packed it gets here in the Fall with all of the leave peepers and bird watchers with their cameras. I was uptown this weekend and for the first time in the 2 years since I've lived here I actually looked around and realized what a beautiful town it is.

I can't start a blog without attaching a picture of our little pride and joy Kona (even though Kyle would never agree to that out loud). She is a Bichon/Poodle mix and she's going to be a year at the end of November. She has the best personality and there are days I think I would be lost without her. The other pups are Kona's best buddies Beau and Indy. Beau is a Maltese and Indy is a Bichon. The boys belong to my mother-in-law Carole, and together the three of them are hell-raisers!!
